Tami Jackson lives in Kent, Washington (USA) with her husband Doug, Freya (the dachshund), Artemis (the pug), Luna (the short-hair black cat), Odysseus (the long hair black cat) and a few Top Hat Polish Chickens in the back yard. In addition to writing and learning new computer software, Tami loves to garden. She volunteers for native plant rescue efforts, the native bat society, and a community emergency response team. In the past she has volunteered for the local history museum but, seeing her high school yearbook on the shelves, realized she must now be a “wise woman” and began writing entertaining stories for educating the young (and not so young). In the past Tami has worked as a massage therapist, a public relations editor/writer and news correspondent. She has also dug ditches, professionally, and drove truck and trailer.
